'Impractical'
Shrewsbury have cancelled the friendly between us that was scheduled for the end of July. Apparantly, as part of a player transfer deal, Manchester City had agreed to officially open their new stadium but the only date they offered to play them was on Wednesday 1st August - just 24 hours after our fixture. As they state it 'impractical' to have two back to back fixtures, it has been decided that our game is to be cancelled.
So, in the English Dictionary, does impractical mean the following?...
'had a better offer'
'something better has come up'
or...
'let's wait and see if a Premiership side is available'.
Bitter, who's bitter? ;-)
