Rangers sign Tofas.

QPR announced today that they have taken up the opportunity to sign Georgios Tofas on a deal until the end of the season.

The 21 year old Cypriot joins outside of the transfer window as he is a free agent after being released by Anathorsis Famagusta.
Tofas also played for AEK Athens.

Neil Warnock describes the capture on the Official QPR website "Georgios is somebody who has excited me when I have watched him.

"He looks like our type of player - he can take men on, yet he knows he has to work hard for the rest of the team. He has got the right work ethic.

"The chance to bring him in until the end of the season was too good an opportunity for me to turn down."

Tofas is an attacking midfielder and will add to our attacking options once he has recovered from a slight hamstring injury, he is expected to return to full training in the next 10 days.

Welcome Georgios and we hope you enjoy your time here at QPR!!
