R's Taye up Taiwo.

Today the R's announced the loan signing of AC Milan left back Taye Taiwo on a six month loan deal.

Taiwo, 26, signed for AC Milan from Marseille in the summer for a fee believed to be in the £6-8 million pound bracket.
Taiwo was nominated in the Ligue 1 team of the year during three of the last four seasons and has gained a reputation of being a dead ball expert with a lethal left foot that has bust the net on many occasions.

Taiwo can also operate at left wing, so it will be interesting to see where Taiwo and Traore will be playing once the latter returns from International duty at the African Cup of Nations with Senegal. One would assume that Taiwo will play at left back whilst Traore operates on the left wing, a position that he has played in on a few occasions already this season and looked very much at home playing there.

Taiwo told the Official QPR Website :-

"It's a new challenge for me.
"I don't know too much about QPR, but I'm learning a lot already.
"I know the Premier League and it's a very exciting division.
"It has always been a dream of mine to play in this league.

"Wherever you go in the world, people always talk about the Premier League and it will be nice to play in a country that speaks the same language as me."

"The Chelsea tie is a big one, but the league matters most.
"We need to stay in this division this season - and that is the objective."

Taiwo will wear the number 34 shirt.

Welcome to QPR Taye, we wish you all the success during your time here at Loftus Road.

U R'SSSSSS!!!!!!!
