The 2013 Lofty Heights Awards...

It's that time again as LH brings down the curtain on the season with the Lofty Heights Awards for the season. I don't have to remind you of the season that has just passed and unfortunately, the awards have been a bit of a struggle to put together as you could imagine. But the gang and I have managed to collate a few bits and pieces and the awards are as follows;

LH Player of the Year - Ryan Nelsen with Andros Townsend a close second

LH Young Player of the Year - Michael Harriman

LH Worst Player of the Season - Jose Bosingwa

Goal of the Season - Remy v Wigan

Best Home Game - Sunderland 3-1

Worst Home Game - Swansea 0-5

Best Away Game - Chelsea 1-0

Worst Away Game - Everton 0-2

Signing of the Season - Remy/Townsend

Biggest Celebrations of the Season - has to be Chelsea away, the goal AND the final whistle!!

Best Awayday - Southampton

Awayday Pie of the Season - West Ham

Biggest Flop of the Season - Junior Hoilett, closely followed by Granero, Mbia, Bosingwa and Park

Biggest Wanker of the Season - Mark Hughes

LH Supporter of the Year  - Lee, who I must say was quite happy to split it with myself as there was one game between us, Sunderland away. Although it wasn't for the want of trying, I got caught on the M25 for 4 hours and didn't make it, a miss is a miss... well done mate!!

Stay Away Supporter of the Year - California Hoop

Corporate Supporter of the Year - normally a gimme for Corp Gordon, but myself and Jenson have stolen the title with corporate ventures and plenty of prawn sandwiches at home to Walsall and WBA

Part Time Supporter of the Year - PK

Fund Raisers of the Season - Lorna and Sam

Driver of the Year - Jenson, the Sunderland away drive was impressive with just about every obstacle, including pigs in the road, put in front of him...

The Red Bull Award for Staying Awake - Luke

Strongest Bladder of the Season - Jess - Wigan away, 1st half, a massive 5 toilet visits clinched it

The She Said No Award - Loic Remy

Most Seats Used in a Match - Wigan, where the driving rain forced us to move seats 5 times!!

Celeb Spotter of the Season - Has to go to Luke for spotting Kylie Minogue at the services on route to Wigan

Predictor of the Season -  Lofty

the Adel Taarabt, I know nothing Award based on Predictions - PK

Fantasy Football Award - Jess - Weak Bladder FC

Viagogo Fan of the Year - Lorna

Worst Atmosphere - Reading away

Most Parking Tickets in a Season - Jenson, I think with 4, maybe 5. Unfortunately, on his appeal against the one against Chelsea away, bigging up the result wasn't the best idea

Sideburns of the Season - PK - Man United away
